There are the two sides, pro-life and pro-abortion. There are other words used to describe these
positions -- anti-abortion, pro-death, pro-abortion, and so forth -- and they
are used interchangeably at times. But
are they really interchangeable terms?
Is pro-choice really neutral and therefore not destructive by
virtue of its tolerance and inaction?
Isn't pro-abortion really pro-death, rather than supportive of a woman's
right? Is anti-abortion the same as pro-life, and does pro-life only apply to
the murder of children in the womb? And so forth. If one thinks about these terms, one can say
what one means and mean what one says, and … know what one is saying. By our words we can transform the world.
What does it mean to be pro-life, really? Life is the name of God, I AM THAT AM. It speaks to being LIFE itself, which is not
only existence but a dynamic of purpose and destiny. And LIFE begets LIFE, gives LIFE, defends
LIFE, not just in the womb, but also in the sickbed of the elderly and the
infirm, all persons in all states of life and in all conditions and
situations. Pro-Life is not touching
what God gave us that can only come from God and that therefore only God can
touch. Pro-Life, rather, is revering and
serving it in worship of it's Creator, WHO IS LIFE
itself.
